Honey
Bee emerged from collaborations between Richard Miles,
Jake Rousham and Marcus Ripley. Together
they set about creating project based music, exploring a wide range of styles
and collaborating with whoever they found drifting through the studio at the
time. Results were often suprising, examples of which can be found on the
very rare CDs they issued, re-available now, through Armchair Astronaut.
The track here,
‘Nosebleed Pt 1’ is what happened when
we let Jamie Lidell loose in the studio with a piece of wood
with a nail through it. Apologies to the owner of the cymbals!
